Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students make up an interesting cultural group that makes the classroom environment a very pleasant place to teach. My students' backgrounds include the United States, South America, Central America, and Europe.
With a large population of students from multicultural groups, my school ensures to provide them current research-based strategies and provides extended extracurricular activities such as sports, the arts, languages and more.
I am proud to be part of such a wonderful institution that focuses on enriching the students' experiences in many aspects.
My Project
My students would love to read these amazing books! The titles include the Crime Biters series, The Heroes of Olympus, Keys to the City, Wipeout of the Wireless Weenies, and Rise of the Isle of the Lost, Dork Diaries, Who Could be at This Hour, and more.
When students have access to a great selection of books, their motivation for learning always shines!
Also, my students will also learn the art of cursive handwriting with the cursive book in this project. Their exploration in this new skill will surely keep them more motivated and excited about themselves as they progress.
