Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come to school on their computers every day to learn about new people and places. They live in a very rural area. Most of the students do not get out of their small town much. I would like to show the students people and places that are around them through Virtual Field Trips.

My Project

Virtual Field Trips will help the students learn more about STEM, Social Studies, and even music or art. In Science and Social Studies my students always ask questions. They want to see science in action. They want to see the history that we are teaching them. I want the students to see the beautiful sceneries of the United States and other countries.

Using Virtual Field trips in the classroom will help to show the students the many adventures that are beyond their home.

Some students do not get away from their small towns. Seeing the Virtual Field Trips will add to the lesson that was taught along with taking "a trip". It is important to show students what is out there and to inspire them to travel or take an adventure.

In these unprecedented times we are unable to take actual field trips. I believe that Virtual Field trips are just what my students need right now.
