Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work in an inclusive art classroom with a diverse group of amazing students from diverse groups. They are eager to learn new things and explore, while working on different art projects with various mediums.
I teach a total of 23 classrooms in which there are 560 students that range from Kindergarten to Fifth Grade.
I want to provide different materials for them, to help them continue exploring a wide variety of art projects that will help them grow and explore with new materials.
My Project
Help my young students gain confidence in drawing and creating, by providing an easy-to-use material, that is eco-friendly and can motivate students to try different art techniques.
By providing a magnetic board to my young students, it would help them easily start drawing and building their creativity because they will know they can always start over and try again.
Magnetic boards can support students who are intimidated to make mistakes in their artwork. It will also support them during the artistic process, of having an idea, planning, and creating their masterpiece.
