My Students
Don't you wish you could have learned two languages growing up? My students have been able to study Spanish and English since Kindergarten. I am a first year teacher and desperately need books for my classroom library.
My students attend a low income school in the state of Washington. They are eager to learn and to continue improving their Spanish reading abilities. Providing books for them to read will help them expand their vocabulary and understanding. I am very excited about finding DonorsChoose and being able to provide my students with books that they will love to read.
My Project
These books will allow me to form guided reading groups. It will be a great way to work with small groups and help improve their reading abilities in Spanish. These students are also learning reading and writing in English. In my classroom, I specialize in improving their reading and writing in Spanish. This is why it's so important for me to get books.
These books will allow me to form guided reading groups. I will have the tools to improve reading abilities of over 40 students. As a new teacher, I have been struggling to put my classroom together. It is really important for me to get these students a variety of books, so that I can reach all the different levels of readers.
