Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their curiosity, creativity, and resilience. Every day, they bring energy, ideas, and a willingness to grow—even when faced with challenges. They are eager to learn and thrive in a space where they feel welcomed, inspired, and supported.
This project is about creating an environment that reflects how much I believe in them.
Classroom decorations aren't just for looks—they help establish a space that feels safe, joyful, and engaging. A well-decorated classroom can reduce anxiety, increase focus, and give students a sense of pride and ownership in their learning environment.
In addition to the physical space, professional development resources will help me continue learning best practices and new strategies to better meet my students’ diverse needs. Whether it’s improving classroom management, learning new instructional methods, or incorporating more inclusive and culturally responsive teaching, professional growth directly impacts how effectively I support my students.
Together, these resources will help turn our classroom into a place where students feel seen, inspired, and excited to learn every day.
