My Students
Have you ever walked into work and literally felt love embrace you? Every single day that I come to work I am met with hugs and high fives from students walking our halls. For many of the students on campus this is the only form of affection they experience. Many of our students come from broken homes that struggle with poverty. While their situations may look dire to those of us on the outside, they are truly champions that over come all forms of adversity. Each and every one of them works diligently to create the best life possible for their future. I have the honor of shepherding them through 5th grade.
My Project
Each student deserves an inspiring and special place to sit and learn. Our classroom is a safe and loved learning environment which usually means we are working together in teams to understand new and exciting concepts. These tables allow students to work in close groups while at the same time giving them enough space of their own to be successful individuals. The tops are special whiteboards that students and teachers can draw on to better explain and understand academic concepts. We are so excited for these tables!
It is within these seats that senators are created, doctors are made, teachers are born, and engineers excel.
We plan on changing the future of group work through these tables.. Our students look forward to working together at these tables.
