Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second grade students are curious, creative problem solvers who learn best when they can explore, build, and design with their hands. To help them grow as scientists, engineers, and innovators, our classroom needs materials that support hands-on STEAM learning. With colorful cardstock, construction paper, magnets, and photo paper, students will have plenty of supplies to plan, test, and showcase their projects.

The LEGO STEAM Park, magnetic tiles, pattern blocks, and baseplates will allow students to collaborate while building structures, experimenting with design, and thinking like engineers.

These tools encourage teamwork, critical thinking, and persistence as students test ideas and improve their creations. The alphabet rug will also provide a comfortable, inviting space where small groups can gather for STEAM challenges and collaborative work.
