This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students provide inspiration to me each and every day. Despite the situation they wake up to in the morning, they come to school with their future in mind. They are responsible, goal oriented and have an endless amount of potential.

Regardless of their origin, circumstances, or what society has said, they are determined to live out every one of their dreams.

They are living, breathing, proof of resilience. They are committed to redefining what it means to be a student.

My Project

Murals are a staple on the South Side of Tucson, and my class would like to bring that culture onto our campus in an inspiring way.

Help us to create a mural on our campus that will inspire all students, help build relationships with my students after learning alone for over a year, and leave a lasting impact for years to come.

Every year my students want to help beautify our dating campus, but supplies to do so are always the hurdle. With these supplies, my students will be able to work together and make their vision a reality.
