Welcome to the digital world! My students need more exposure to digital learning as technology usage is surely in their future. A blended learning classroom will create passionate and digi-experienced learners.
My third grade students are wonderful!
My classroom is full of enthusiastic learners. They are always ready for a challenge and asking higher order thinking questions to stimulate their learning. The students are very respectful and encourage their peers to do their personal best. Like I said, they are just wonderful. They attend a school in small town, Indiana. The demographics of my students ranges from affluent to working-class to generational poverty families. They deserve to have digital resources in their classroom that they may not ever have at home. They deserve a blended learning classroom because that is the reality of their future.
My Project
Thank you for your interest in our request! I am a teacher of 70 third grade students. That's right, 70. Students switch teachers for different subjects, so each day I service 70 amazing third grade students. I am a teacher that teaches to each student's need and interest. I am requesting 2 iPads for the classroom so that students can apply and practice their individual learning of reading, language arts, and math skills daily. Students will use the iPads during literacy or math stations. This station will be called the Digi-Learning Station. I will seek the best educational apps that meet their learning style. Students will not only practice reading and math skills, but also learn how to be an experienced iPad user.
Students need to practice their skills in an engaging way.
A digi-learning work station is the solution to what our classroom is lacking: digital resources. These iPads will make a huge difference in my classroom. I can just imagine the smile on a student's face when he or she knows that this is their day to practice their reading and math skills on the iPad during work stations. Their learning will be enhanced while their attitude for learning will be positive. Thank you for reading our story!
