it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom students are considered 98% economically disadvantaged, part of the special education program, and are acquiring English as a second language. My students who are English learners are working to improve their ability to speak clearly, confidently, and use academic language in the classroom. Often times these students are embarrassed because of how they sound and how they struggle with communication. These headphones will allow them to participate in speaking/recording activities, receive feedback to grow as effective communicators, which will help them build essential skills for school and beyond.
