Inspiring and Engaging Students: Books for Terrific Teachers
I need books to support our school's continuous growth and improvement. Our teachers really care and are always looking for new and better ways to inspire and engage students. These will be terrific resources!
Our high school is home to some of the most driven, appreciative, and inspiring students around. Almost 2100 students attend our high school, established in 1976.
Our kids come from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds, and a number of our teachers are ECRHS alumni who chose to return to our great school and pay it forward.
At our school, you'll see that we have a terrific program supporting autistic folks and those with other special needs and abilities, an ELL program, robust AP and honors classes, and dedicated athletes. It's an honor to be their librarian, attempting to bring books and technology that will further inspire and support these kids. My Project
These are some of the newest and most popular books in contemporary professional development for teachers, and we'd love to add them to our collection of resources and highlight them in upcoming professional development meetings/workshops.
We're looking to invigorate and support great instruction.
These will meet the needs of a variety of teachers in a number of disciplines, as well as library instruction. The books will give teachers techniques for making learning relevant, visible, and fun.
We'll feature the books both in our professional development area and in a teacher "book tasting" event so that staff has an opportunity to explore and spend time with the new books!
