Inspired Learning at ISTE 2020

I need to attend ISTE! I just recently completed an endorsement in instructional coaching and would love to attend ISTE to get tips and tricks to take my instructional technology coaching to the next level.

My Students

As a school technology specialist, I have the unique opportunity to teach K-6 students AND teachers at two elementary schools in my district. Both schools serve very different populations and utilize various forms of technology, including 1:1 Chromebooks in every classroom.

It seems that these days, the world is changing at the speed of light!

Teachers need to stay on top of their game with respect to technology integration in order to effectively guide our future leaders!!

My students are 21st-century learners who LOVE technology. They love to learn and are excited to try new things. I am fortunate to work with all students from kindergarten through 6th grade and love sharing new technology with them throughout their time in elementary school. These students are curious, hands on learners, who are eager to learn more about technology.

My Project

I would like to attend the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Conference in June, 2020 in Anaheim, California. At this conference, I look forward to gaining powerful ideas, listening to inspirational speakers and connecting with innovative educators who share my same passion for learning and teaching educational technology. I also look forward to hearing from inspiring speakers, learning from amazing and passionate educators, and hearing about the latest in technology from some of the brightest minds in both education and technology.

As an educator, I am also a learner.

Technology is fast moving and integrating best practice into teaching and learning for my students is ever evolving. ISTE will provide me with one-of-a-kind opportunities to gain hands-on experiences with the latest in education technology.

At this conference, I will find strategies that work from the brightest minds in ed tech. I will gain many ideas and come back ready for a new challenge and ready to share my ideas with the teachers at both of the schools where I teach. This conference will be a great benefit to not just me, but the faculty and students of both schools where I work.

Donations to this project will help me attend the conference and cover some of the cost for food, lodging, and travel. Thank you in advance for helping me to attend this incredible conference.
