The students in the 6th grade love to use art as a form of self expression. They enjoy learning how to express themselves in creative ways. They are able to use art as a way to communicate their thoughts and emotions with others. The students will be transitioning to the intermediate school upon graduation. This change will illicit many emotions for the students that have known each other since they were in Kindergarten.
The paint, watercolor paper, and brushes will allow students to translate their emotions onto paper as they create meaningful art pieces that they can share with those around them.
The ear buds will allow students to engage in state testing where headphones are required.
