My Project
Providing concrete tools enables students to manipulate and think about ideas. Both math and science require observations, measurement, recording, and the processing of data. Both math and science practices require students to use models to problem-solve. The materials in this project, such as hundreds charts, tape measures, counters, owl pellets, praying mantis kit, frog kit and more will provide equal access for the developing mathematical and scientific minds in my STEM classroom.
