My Project

My students love to find a cozy spot in the classroom and read. Flexible seating gives students the power to learn in positions comfortable for them. It also increases students' ability to focus. I would like two benches to provide flexible seating in the reading corner.

Creating a reading corner invites and encourages students to read more, thus sparking a lifelong love for reading.

Graphic novels are a popular genre in my classroom! Students find them fun to read. Graphic novels can help develop visual and verbal literacy. Having words alongside pictures also helps bridge understanding of the text. I would like to add more graphic novels to my classroom library to help keep students interested in reading.
