My Project

Due to recent budget cuts, our school library is often unavailable for students. Over the years, we have built time into our daily lesson plans for independent reading time. I would like to build a classroom library that encourages students to take the time to read on a daily basis. I have purchased several books at garage sales, library sales, etc. and kids are using them as our library is not always open or accessible to them on a regular basis. I teach mostly 9th and 10th grade students who need books that will keep them interested in reading. My hope is that I can continue to inspire them to be life long readers. Please help me to build my classroom library.
