My Project

Changing Lives One Sensory Tool at a Time! In our Pre-K Autism classroom, learning happens in many beautiful and unique ways. Our students thrive through hands-on, sensory-rich experiences that support their development across all areas, communication, motor skills, social interaction, and emotional regulation.

Art and sensory tools aren’t just fun; they are essential for our students.

Many of them process the world differently and need alternative ways to express themselves, stay regulated, and engage with learning. Paint, clay, textured materials, fidget tools, and sensory bins provide calming outlets, stimulate creativity, and support fine motor development.

These resources also promote inclusion, allowing every child to participate in ways that feel safe and accessible to them. Whether it’s expressing feelings through color or calming big emotions with tactile play, these tools help unlock learning in a meaningful way.
