I have the privilege of teaching an amazing group of diverse third graders who are eager to learn! I teach at a Title I school where over half of the students receive free or reduced breakfast/lunch. My students come from varied academic, social, emotional, and economic backgrounds who strive to do their best every day! I value my students' uniqueness and work to foster student success by building relationships with my students and their families.
I believe in each of my students and endeavor every day to help them believe in themselves despite the many obstacles they may face!
I love to see the joy on their faces when they finally grasp a concept that seemed to be impossible and reach their goals! We celebrate our successes and learn from our failures and strive to never give up!
As an educator, I am constantly trying to find new ways to motivate, inspire, and engage my students! Participating in the Ron Clark Academy 2-day educators training will help give me the tools to continue to promote student learning with innovative teaching strategies! I will experience master educators teaching classes, experience school culture, rigor, and student engagement at its BEST!
"The Ron Clark Academy is a model school with a vision to transform classrooms around the world by demonstrating transformative methods and technology that are embraced and replicated everywhere!" I want to be "recharged, re-energized, renewed, and rejuvenated to motivate and inspire my students to learn!
Attending this professional development will help me discover new ways to make connections, build relationships and make a HUGE impact on the students I teach now and in years to come!
