Hello! My name is Ms. R. and I teach 2nd grade at our Academy . I’m raising funds to give each of my 20 students at least three books — two fiction books and one nonfiction book. I hope that these books will inspire my students to read with their families. Nothing compares to the joy you feel when you hold a book and get lost in a story.
Children are taught how to read at school, but the real joy of reading is found at home.
Most of my students do not have books at home so they are unable to read with their parents. When you become a Book Fairy by contributing to my campaign, you’ll help me raise $400 to send books home with students.
Any extra funds will go toward building our classroom library and will benefit kids for years to come.
