I have the privilege of teaching sixth graders! They are in the middle school and it is usually a very tough transition. I love to help the students grow into the wonderful young men and women they are.
I want to provide my students with up to date books to guide their learning.
The books I have chosen help with social emotional issues and are current. It is a tough task to motivate students to read, especially at this age. I am hoping, with this selection of books, I can guide them to become amazing young men and women and teach them the key concepts in our curriculum at the same time. Thank you so much!
Teaching middle school students is both challenging and rewarding. It is especially difficult to help teach reading and to instill a passion to love to read. By having up to date, fun, engaging books, the students will open their minds for that passion. The book Ghost and Posted are both up to date and teaches students how to be good citizens in this world.
The characters in the books really teach the students how to be kind to others and how to overcome hardships.
My students need that positive reinforcement in their life. With your help, we can have these books to enrich their lives in so many ways!
