My Students

The students that I have the privilege of working with on a daily basis are hard-working and high-achievers. They are a diverse group with different needs and challenges and they love to engage in collaborative, problem-solving activities.

Due to the diverse needs to my students, I utilize a differentiated curriculum and flexible seating to allow them voice and choice within their assignments in order to allow success for all students based upon the nature of the high expectations of the district.

My Project

The classroom environment is very collaborative and the kids are given many opportunities to create and engage in problem-solving and critical thinking. To meet the needs of different types of learners, students are given voice and choice on a daily basis.

Through the use of white board tables, which allow for flexibility, and poster paper, the students have the necessary supplies to engage in expressing their creative side.

Students really enjoy working with groups and partners and it helps with they have the proper materials to engage in that group effort. The white board table will prove to assist in their flexible seating arrangement in the classroom.
