I am a first grade teacher in a wonderful school in Wisconsin. My students are very special, and I just love going to school every day to see the sparkle in their little 5- to 8-year-old eyes. I also get to connect with students of various ages during and after school. I truly have the most special job in the world and treasure every day with my students! We participate in so many fun activities throughout the year, and our hope is to add even more.
My Project
My little first-graders play so well together this year, and they are very creative. I am hoping that we can get them some new inside recess/STEM science play kits. They always take very good care of their toys, share nicely, and build such creative projects, so I am requesting some wonderful science/toy kits that will allow them be even more creative.
They would just love to have new sets of Playstix and some Slot-Together Snowflakes for inside recess and STEM fun, and it would be a wonderful surprise for them!
The Playstix are little bumpy sticks that they can build houses, airplanes, boats, bridges, and all kinds of fun projects with. There are wheels, airplane wings, and lots of colorful pieces, so that they can really get creative. The Slot-Together Snowflakes are something that I have never seen before. They are colorful snowflakes that the kids can engineer and fit together using slots. They can just keep on attaching to build things like trees, robots, mountains and other fun things.
My students will just love having these new STEM/Toy kits. These toys will last for many years, and my they will take very good care of them. Thank you so much for your support! They will be so surprised!
