This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love about my students is their spark to learn and take it beyond. They ask why, when, and how questions and wonder what other places are like. In Transitional Kindergarten, we learn to become independent and complete work on our own.

This year I plan to use Inside out theme for my classroom to promote social emotional skills and feelings.

With the posters, incentives, and decorations, we will teach emotions to students and help them understand why they are feeling that way and how to deal with it. My students are very young and have lots of emotions and this is a big topic for them to learn and understand. Having a classroom centered on this will be key to their learning.
