Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Preschool is all about play, but what is behind play? Inquiry, exploration, enrichment. This project will offer a variety of items to foster learning through play.

Children are natural story tellers.

Some of the items selected for this project will enrich literacy through stories, their characters, and retelling their favorite stories--or ceate their own through dramatic play. Along with dramatic play, social emotional education can be supported through literacy, as children can experience character feelings and relate them on their own.

Hands-on STEM is more interesting with a variety of manipulatives. Children will explore number recognition and counting. Other Items will enrich our block area to expand their exploration of buildings, ramps and tracks. The musical instruments selected will help us enrich our music and movement time.

Overall, our main goal in our class is to have lots of fun! And this project will greatly help our class.
