Help me give my students a Chomp Saw tool to bring their cardboard designs to life, a shop vacuum, and organizational materials to keep track of all of our projects.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our Innovation Lab, students bring their ideas and designs to life using a variety of materials. One the most used materials is cardboard. While we have several tools that students use to cut cardboard, one tool that we would love to add to our lab is the Chomp Saw. Adding this piece of hardware to our collection would allow more students to accurately cut cardboard without all of the mess!
Additionally, students are responsible for keeping the space clean and organized while working in a shared space.
The handheld shop vac will allow more students to independently and effectively clean the space. The organizing tubs of varying sizes will help us keep our materials tidy and allow us to maximize space in the lab.
