This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love being able to have my students actively participate and be engaged in their learning through the activities we do in class. The use of the kindle scribes in small groups will allow them to have access to a whole unique experience in reading with a digital notepad, e-reader capabilities, note taking and close reading made easy.
With the Kindle Scribe students in their small groups work will be able to collaborate by annotating texts, highlighting important events in stories, write summaries, inferences, questions, underline key words or unknown words, identify text evidence, use context clues and more to improve their reading comprehension skills.
Using the Kindle Scribe will also allow me to give them feedback on their text annotations as they use their reading comprehension skills.
