My third graders learn best when they can explore, experiment, and create. They are full of curiosity and imagination, and I want to give them materials that spark problem-solving, teamwork, and discovery.
That’s why I am requesting STEM and sensory materials like magnet blocks, puzzles, Play-Doh, and drawing pads.
These resources will provide students with opportunities to design, build, and think critically while also supporting creativity and fine motor skills. Magnet blocks and puzzles will encourage collaboration and spatial reasoning, while Play-Doh and drawing pads will give students space to model ideas, brainstorm solutions, and express their creativity. Sensory materials will also support focus, reduce stress, and help all learners engage fully in class.
By funding this project, you will be providing my students with hands-on tools that make STEM fun, meaningful, and accessible. Your generosity will help them develop the confidence to solve problems, the perseverance to try new strategies, and the joy of learning through play.
