LEGO Spike Prime is the go-to STEM or STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) learning tool for my middle school students! They can build break dancers, hopping robots, grabbers, scooters, weather machines, and all kinds of colorful LEGO elements while learning about the design process. Once a LEGO build is complete, students then use drag-and-drop Scratch blocks or Python coding to get their LEGO creations to move or meet certain challenge requirements. This involves teamwork, critical thinking, and problem solving, regardless of learning levels. LEGO Education has the brain-based science research to back up the innovative learning that occurs all while having fun.
