My Project
This certification, aligned with the ISTE Standards for Educators, emphasizes effective pedagogy over tools or devices. The ISTE Standards, adopted by all 50 states, provide a framework for educators to rethink and transform their instructional strategies.
This certification will empower me to create dynamic learning environments that thoughtfully incorporate technology to support and enrich educational experiences.
As an ISTE Certified Educator, I’ll be able to model the effective use of technology to our team, and I'll be able to share how to apply the ISTE Standards in my instructional practices using the technology we have. Because this is a vendor-neutral certification, I’ll be prepared to adopt the tools we have today and the technologies of the future.
ISTE Certification training includes 10 weeks of professional learning, followed by a six-month portfolio application and review process. Additionally, I can apply for graduate-level credits for my involvement in this comprehensive program.
