Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school in East San Jose, I’ve launched a tattoo art workshop designed to give aspiring student artists hands-on experience in a growing, creative field. These students, many of whom come from underrepresented backgrounds, are eager to learn the craft, culture, and discipline of tattooing in a safe and structured environment.

This project includes everything from stencil-making materials and practice skin to ink, safety gear, and hygiene tools.

Each item is critical to ensuring students can work safely, learn effectively, and take pride in their progress.

What We’re Requesting:
