Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are all English-language learners who love to write stories and draw pictures. The more they learn how to read and write, the better their English skills improve. Some of these students are also great illustrators. With a decent color printer, my class will have an opportunity to become authors and share their work by printing their writing for the entire class to read. It will be fun for the kids to see their “published” work in our classroom library along with other great authors.
With a picture printer, students will have another way of sharing artwork and enhancing their projects throughout the school year.
Lastly, even if saving trees is still super important, every so often a teacher needs to make copies for her students. With that said, a color printer and photo printer would be so appreciated in the classroom.
