Our diverse student body is made up of children from 50+ different countries and have a strong support for the arts & music in general. We enjoy learning music from all over the world, performing music in many different languages to represent our diverse cultures, along with our American Music Literature. Students enrolled in my classes learn vocal technique, music sight-reading skills, performance practices & etiquette, & play instruments such as boom-whackers, various percussion instruments, piano & guitar in a fun and caring environment.
We need ink for our classroom printer so we can print sheet music, sight-reading examples, music theory lessons, and more for each student. Donating to this project would help us to get 4 ink cartridges: black, cyan, yellow, and magenta. Students will be choosing pop style and musical theatre repertoire for our upcoming concert that we will need to be able to print from our classroom printer. Our district does not give us funds to cover this cost, so we are asking for donations to this project. I believe in teaching students to read music and this project will help bring that goal to life!
