This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Not having enough resources hinders a child’s opportunity to learn. In order to break that cycle, it is necessary to provide students with as many materials/resources as possible so they do not fall behind.

What makes my students special is that they are eager to learn.

They love engaging in new materials/books/activities and are naturally curious about the world around them. Their eyes light up every time I bring something new that adds to our classroom. My overall goal is to help grow their eager minds and prepare them to be successful.

My Project

For this project, I am requesting ink cartridges to create educational games as well as pictures for visual representation. I love including math and literacy games as part of our learning. The students love it too because they get to play together while building academic and social skills. The ink cartridges would help me create these games that they will then engage in. The ink cartridges will also help with printing pictures that complement lessons. For example, when the students are learning topics related to science I would be able to print out color pictures that would go in handy with what they are learning. The color pictures would allow them to see the actual representation of images related to the topic. Finally, the laminating sheets would allow for the games and pictures to last and be protected.
