Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come to school every day ready to learn, be challenged, and have fun! They love to write all! My goal is to give them as many writing experiences that I can during the school year.

My school is a Title I school with students receiving free breakfast and after school daycare.

My class consists of ELD and SEL students who need extra help to access the curriculum. Although my students require extra help, they come to school every day ready to learn!

My Project

The materials I am requesting are essential to my class writing program. Every week my students work on their writing skills. They use the writing process to guide them into creating writing masterpieces. After my students have edited and revised their work, they create a final copy of their work. My students type up this final copy and print it out for class presentations. So the ink cartridges and paper will help to continue this writing process for my creative writers. The materials will definitely make a huge difference in my students' learning because they look forward to typing up their final copy!
