This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The art area is an important part of our classroom. Art helps my children work on their fine motor skills, with the use of brushes, scissors, markers, play dough, etc. It helps them practice their coloring skills and develop their imagination.

Art has been the best instrument to express emotions.

My students have found painting, coloring, cutting, shaping, a positive way to express their feelings and communicate. I like to see my students’ growth day by day through what they can create and the happiness in their face at the moment they see their paintings around the classroom. My goal with this project is for my students to continue developing their fine motor skills, stimulating their creativity, encouraging teamwork, problem solving, being more observant, and reducing stress.
