My Project
I love my students' passion for learning. Language can be a barrier, but there are some things we can do to break the barrier down. Labeling items around the class in both English and Spanish will help make our environment inclusive. In addition to helping around the class, it will also help with at-home learning. During my most recent Bilingual Parent meeting, the parents requested more worksheets and fewer technology assignments. This will only be possible if I am able to print out educational material for students.
Internet is not a given in every household, and printed handouts will allow for family collaboration around homework.
The link will also help create visual aids, such as charts and posters, to enhance learning.
