The donated materials has already made a huge difference in the quality in support and services I can provide to each of my students. The articulation materials have increased my students ability to participate in the curriculum within the classroom. \r\n\r\nIn particular, having these articulation cards and resources has allowed me to design specialized, accessible lessons tailored to my students' unique communication goals. Being able to implement speech and language therapy in a fun and specialized manner has absolutely changed how effective our sessions have been!\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest things my students have loved is the mouth puppet. My students can now see how each sound needs to be produced. Increasing understanding has improved production tremendously! Being able to create various communication boards allows my students access to a reliable way to advocate for themselves and communicate their needs. \r\n\r\nHaving a printer, laminator and velcro dots has allowed me to create specialized materials that include my students in the curriculum. One of the biggest things my students have loved is adaptive story books! My students can now express their understanding and thoughts about the story without verbal communication. Having headphones available in the classroom allows students to fully participate in digital learning activities, listen to educational videos, and work independently without distractions. For many of our students, these headphones are a resource they would not otherwise have access to, and they have quickly become an important part of our daily learning routine.\r\n\r\nAbout 71% of the students in our classroom are English Language Learners, and the headphones have helped them especially.
