I currently teach computers to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, which totals 140 students. You could only imagine the amount of ink that we run through, when completing projects and assignments.
YOUR generosity would mean a great deal to us. It is a burden when the printer runs out of ink, and I do not have another cartridge on hand to replace it with. I feel like I am letting the students down.
Many families cannot afford a computer in the home, so I try to meet the needs of these anxious computer learners the best that I could. Ink is needed so that my students can display their work for the school to see. I am a firm believer of displaying students work, because it gives them a sense of achievement. Being that I teach computers, I introduce the students to all of the Microsoft Office programs, as well as Paint, and Inspiration 6. Technology is a crucial part of our lives. When the students complete a project, they want to see it in a hard copy, and not just through a computer screen.
It would feel like Christmas morning to my students, if you helped to sponsor our project. Thank you very much.
