Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Many of my students, and their families, are struggling or their families have been impacted by the current pandemic. So as their teacher, I want them to have endless possibilities. I want them to be able to participate in activities and learning and make up for learning loss.

In the last few months of last school year, my students were learning both hybrid and some were remote as well and this upcoming school year, we will return full time in person and I am so excited.

They were working so hard from wherever they were, and many have been impacted by the pandemic and are ready to be back in person, they deserve only the best, and I want to provide them with the best learning experience!

My Project

The most important thing for creating and providing my students with learning materials to use in the classroom is ink! My students need center stations and resources and I need ink so I can print these amazing materials for my students and then can laminate and prep them for them to use in the classroom.

Without ink I can't make awesome materials and manipulatives for my students to use in groups, in class and in centers especially for use during blended learning and in centers.

Yes we have printers and copy machines in the school but many times they do not work or are out of ink themselves. I would really use ink for my printer at home and my printer at school so I can always be prepared for students where ever I am and also have fun and exciting materials for them to use in class and learn with.
