This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every morning we begin our day with our rules and procedures to keep being a very good class at school. They know the meaning of classroom management and how effective it is for everyone. Teachers are able to work efficiently, and students are ready to learn every single lesson!
My students are the most diverse group of kids.
Most of them belong to a Title one school and some of the families do not speak English at home. Due to all the adversities, my students are eager to come to school to learn every single lesson. They are becoming great students because of the effort they are making while attending all our classes.
Our class is used to working with erasable pens for all the subjects this school year, especially in writing and math. These pens are a great alternative to pencils since they learn how to get a neat and clean note. Unfortunately, this type of ink needs to be refilled every single month. I would like to offer all my students another erasable pen and refills.
I am also requesting black sharpies for all my students. They are great drawers and they have impressed me with all the pieces of art they created so far to honor different indigenous American tribes. They love to trace drawings and create great pieces of writing on construction paper using this writing tool.
Engagement begins with offering writing tools to all students in class. I can visualize my students making that little sound that is so special while writing. Help me reach this goal!
