My Students
Students enter my classroom each day knowing that they are the future of the world and it is their learning that will make them the leaders of tomorrow. My classroom is set up with 3D printers and other STEAM tools so that a hands-on, learning experience is incorporated into each class. By the end of the year, I want my students to be at the forefront of STEM education because junior engineers and scientists will be leading the way for the future.
Each student is unique in their own way, which makes learning that much more special.
My students love learning about the ever-changing world of science and are captured by the fact that every day brings new discoveries in science. The school is a welcoming environment that encourages higher-level learning while supporting the students at every step. The school houses over fourteen hundred, middle school students, who come from different ethnic backgrounds. In order to strengthen their learning experience, I want my students to utilize all the possible resources I can provide for them.
My Project
Students have been learning through their devices for nearly 18 months during the pandemic. Now that we are back in the full swing of things, hands-on diagrams, readings and charts are necessary. With the ink, we will be able to print out more student work to display, colored diagrams for our chemistry unit, scaled models for our STEM food truck project and so much more.
If they can see it, write on it, and annotate it there is nothing stopping them from learning at their best.
The ink and paper will help us continue to learn in a powerful way that will leave an everlasting impression on our students. In our STEM centered class, these supplies will be utilized each day to make learning more fun for my junior scientists and engineers.
