This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
The community that I serve in consists mainly of low-income students, students of color. My students have tremendous amounts of school spirit and actively participate as members of their communities. The hope and strength of my students and their communities are unwavering.
Our students are some of the best and brightest that you could ever teach.
They are talented, engaging, motivated, full of grit, and passionate about their education every single day. They know that life is all about discovering who you are and taking advantage of opportunities. Your success in life is not based on your zip code but based on how hungry you are to go out, work hard, and achieve your dreams.
My Project
In hopes to motivate them, I will be able to provide paper copies of any work the students are working on. This will, in turn, give students the confidence they need to soar in the classroom. Ink Cartridges will really allow my students to read and comprehend on their grade level when they are able to annotate and add notes to their papers. These ink-cartridges will come in handy when students need paper to master the content such as reading that will help them learn in the class. As the teacher, I will have easy access to the materials by printing them on the printer that was donated to us a few years ago.
