This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students need a way to enhance their writing. They will use the ink cartridges for our class printer to add color to their presentations.

Our school is a title one school located in California.

My students are first graders and second language learners eager to learn all they can. They are enjoying their schools experience and I want them to continue to build on their writing skills that will help them throughout their school experience.

My Project

My students need ink for our class printer. The ink will be used to print projects the students can share during Back to School night and for class projects they create on the computer. It will also be used to print anchor charts for the classroom, so students can refer to them.

Having the ink for our printer will help my students have presentable projects.

In many ways, teaching children to take pride in project outcomes will keeps them motivated. I know they will take more pride in displaying their work if they have an opportunity to print in color.
