This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school is an SES (Social Economic School). Many of our students are free or reduced lunch. A big percentage of our students come from bilingual homes and families. They love school and come each day to explore, think and learn.
The teachers and I teach all our students to be life learners and citizens in our community and world.
We teach and bring in the real-world activities and experiences into our learning and teaching classroom. This helps students make connections from their learning to their real-world.
My Project
The ink cartridges will help to make copies for the students. We can make color copies for games and hands on activities. This will help the students with their learning each day at school.
It will enhance their reading and math skills to master the subjects and skills independently.
These resources will make it easier for all teachers to produce many copies and games at school. Since we are a title 1 school, funds are low to buy these needed resources. All will benefit from these resources each day at school.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
