My students need a printer with ink and paper to help with small group interventions, behavior management, technology integration, and interactive notebooks.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Save our hands and our time! Without needed ink cartridges and paper supplies, students have to spend additional time copying notes by hand. With extra ink and paper, we will save time and our classroom will run more efficiently.
My students come from impoverished backgrounds.
100% of my students receive free or reduced lunch. Many of my students are below grade level in both reading and math, but have a passion for learning and potential for great improvement with needed support and supplies.
My Project
Providing me with a case of paper and ink cartridges will allow me to provide my students with materials to meet their needs. When working with a small group, I can better meet their needs by providing them with support on their reading level by selecting a book and printing supportive questions and strategies. I can print behavior management tools, such as a points tracker and parent communication logs. I would be able to print note-taking guides and study guides to help my students prepare for future grades and develop skills they will need throughout their lives. Having the ink cartridges and paper will allow me to better impact my students' learning.
Many of my students do not have positive support at home.
For a few of my students, I am the only positive support they receive. By supplying me with additional paper and ink, I can be an even greater support for my children.
