My Students
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we want to create an environment for our students to soar. Our school is located near the heart of the Star city and allows us to serve many students. The area connects diverse communities and cultures. Our school is filled with students who demonstrate pride, resiliency and strength. Adolescence is a time of many transitions. We want school time to be utilized for instruction and growth, not outside stressors. This school year I want to assist our already great students in building on their self love, worth and confidence.
My Project
These hygiene supplies will help build a resource closet to support students whose families may be facing adversity and/or challenges. At our school, we want to reduce the number of barriers that impact success and positive outcomes. This closet will be a confidential resource to students who may need additional support. The closet will also support students in learning the importance of practicing good hygiene and how it connects to health, success and overall confidence. Help me in teaching self-love, self-worth, and self-confidence to our students. We want to equip our students to be their best. Let's give them the tools of the importance of self-care and hygiene.
