My Project
My new position as the 6th grade science teacher has led me to uncover needs and gaps in our lab experiences with my new students.
Help give my 6th graders an Infrared Thermal Camera to better see and learn about Heat Transfer!
This UNI-T UTi120S Infrared Thermal Camera 120x90 IR Resolution Handheld Imaging Camera will enable my students to visibly "see" heat being transferred between objects. Our labs include the Angle of Insolation demonstrating the sunlight hitting the Earth at different angles. Future labs will be able to include this camera and not just be limited to labs involving traditional "stick" thermometers! Finally, my special education students will be better equipped to participate and understand the learning within our Heat Transfer unit with this visual tool!
