Help me give my students the tools they need for a successful third grade year! One the most important things students learn in school is how to stay organized. These supplies will help them do that!
Hello There! My name is Ryan Sperring. I have been teaching for the last 9 years! For the last 3 of those years I was a High School English teacher. I recently found out I am going back to third grade due to some movement within our school district. While I am beyond excited to start a brand new grade level I do not have many of the supplies I will need to run an elementary classroom.
Third graders are full of energy and eager to get their hands on the next adventure!
I will be teaching a room full of students who will be reading, writing, solving, moving, asking questions, and seeking out new information. I would like to provide them with all of the opportunities they deserve.
My Project
Starting a new grade level in a new classroom is beyond exciting. I am changing my position in my district and moving from high school to THIRD GRADE! I cannot wait to meet my new students and start our year off with enthusiasm and positivity. The goal of this project is to obtain some of the supplies my new kiddos will need to stay organized and successful!
As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child!
It takes the same to run a classroom. I am asking for help in gaining some of the organizational tools we will need to run our classroom community. Each student will be provided their own set of supplies so they can work toward independence and feel good about it. One of the most important lessons I believe students should learn in school is how to stay organized and self-motivated. I certainly cannot work well in a chaotic environment and I doubt third graders can either. We want to have a happy, healthy, and clean classroom community to learn and grow.
