This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Technology is a necessary part of education and society today. Students with disabilities need real world technology at their finger tips to optimize their learning!
My students are each identified special education students.
They have individualized education plans with various accommodations and modifications. It's a necessity for them to have hands on tools to better their communication and academic skills. They attend a public elementary school in an urban district.
My Project
Technology is necessary for an ever changing society and educational world. This iPad and case will allow students to supplement their learning through educational apps that enhance their strengths. They will be able to work on specific tasks that target their goals and objectives for academics, behavior, and attention. This technology will reach the students in a way that I can not. It will better provide for accommodating their needs and modifying lessons to meet each students needs.
Seeing a student with a disability thrive and accomplish educational targets that seemed out of their reach is absolutely amazing!
This iPad will impact every student through engaging them and supplementing their education with apps targeted for their specific disability. Let me help my students overcome their obstacles and succeed in this global society!
