This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Seeing my students learn is the thing that makes me the happiest. I love to be able to give them all the information that they need in order to understand and appreciate the world that they live in. Curious, creative, and very vocal, my students are the future of our society and I want to make sure they are equipped and ready to handle it. Faced with some difficult obstacles that they have to go through in their own neighborhood, I want them to know that the obstacles in the classroom can be overcome. With hard work and determination they will become the best of our future.

My Project

My students have to use various websites to help them increase their reading and math skills. We only have 6 computers in the classroom, so most days the other children are simply waiting for their turn. So while they are learning that patience is a virtue, they are not getting much screen time.

A new iPad will help spread the joy of technology in our class.

Not only do we need the iPad for various educational sites, but it will also introduce my young students to modern technology that they will be expected to know as they get older. This iPad will be a huge influence on my youngsters.
